Leaf gilding : discovery with Anne Dufala
In this one-day workshop, you will manipulate the leaf to gild an object: a magical experience! You will choose a decorative plaster (angels, consoles, foliage) in order to decorate it with brass or aluminum leaves, and decorate it with paint and patinas, for a result that will amaze you! You will work with the proper tools and the advice of a gilder who is passionate about her craft.
Anne has been a gilder and ornamentalist for 20 years. She works mainly in heritage restoration; she likes to share her passion and offers gilding courses of different levels in her workshop which is full of antiques.
You will have a free choice of tones, and associations, in order to make your creative spirit work, guided by the craftswoman. You will be the envy of the world when you present your work!
A beautiful experience that you can repeat at home without too much material and easily on many supports!
