This year, celebrate Easter in a different way. From March 30 to April 1, come and share special moments with your loved ones at the Écomusée d'Alsace in Ungersheim. France's largest living open-air museum has put together a program packed with discoveries and emotions.
Young and old are invited to join in the festivities. The many and varied activities are ideal for couples, friends and families alike. The traditional egg hunt is sure to delight children (registration at the museum entrance, places are limited). They'll be delighted to have fun in such an original setting. The unusual tractor and boat rides will transport you to another era, far from the hectic pace of everyday life.
As farms were part of Alsace's rural landscape at the beginning of the 20th century, it's only natural that you should meet their tenants! It's sure to arouse the curiosity of young children, who rarely get the chance to see farm animals up close. A poultry exhibition will also enhance the day's activities. Last but not least, since Easter celebrations are synonymous with reunions over a good meal, you won't want to miss out on a little tour of traditional Easter recipes.
Needless to say, the Easter weekend promises to be an enjoyable one for young and old alike!

Ecomusée d'Alsace
L'ÉCOMUSÉE D'ALSACE, A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE IN THE HEART OF NATURE
--
BUILDINGS & BIODIVERSITY
Today, the Ecomusée d'Alsace consists of a village of 80 buildings representative of Alsace at the beginning of the 20th century, all dismantled from their commune of origin and reassembled in the museum. Around the village, on an area of 97 hectares, you'll find 4 signposted trails to discover biodiversity, as well as agricultural areas in biological transition.
Be curious! Push open the door of each house to discover the treasures it contains: a converted interior, an exhibition, a craftsman's workshop or a stable with animals!

LABEL MUSÉE DE FRANCE
The Ecomusée d'Alsace boasts an exceptional collection of over 40,000 objects, reflecting the daily lives of Alsatians. When the museum was created in 1984, Alsatians became passionate about this adventure and began sending regular donations to the museum.

EVENTS ALL YEAR ROUND
