Explore the Pays du Der in Champagne through several guided hikes! Accompanied by Didier du Val, a passionate naturalist guide from his native land, you embark on foot to discover lesser-known sites in Haute-Marne. Depending on the chosen outing, different routes await you, each revealing a unique aspect of the territory.
Travel back in time on a hike to the oppidum of Châtelet, an archaeological site that bears witness to the ancient history of the area. Another outing takes you to the prehistoric cave of Morancourt, inhabited since the Paleolithic era. Along the way, your guide helps you better understand this heritage and its environment. You can also choose an outing dedicated to the geological sites of Haute-Marne. The opportunity to observe the peculiarities of the subsoil and landscapes, far from traditional tourist circuits. Didier du Val, a naturalist guide with many years of experience, as well as a singer and nature photographer, shares his knowledge and observations throughout the journey.
Each hike lasts between 2 and 3 hours depending on the selected site. The outings are accessible to beginner hikers and young walkers, while requiring a certain level of endurance. Bring sturdy hiking shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing. Up to 25 participants can take part in these guided discoveries.
