Nestled in the heart of a valley on the edge of the forest, the Bourdaine tent welcomes you in its wood and tarp structure. It offers a spacious and comfortable setting in the middle of nature. It can accommodate up to 3 people and is ideal for a bivouac with family or friends.
The Bourdaine tent is specially designed to accommodate you in a comfortable and functional space. It is installed on a wooden platform. Inside, the wooden furniture is particularly privileged. It includes 3 single beds made of beech wood. Each one is equipped with a pillow, a sheet and a comforter. In addition, it offers a living area with a coffee table and seats, as well as a locker. The entire room is illuminated by LED lighting.
The tent is well thought out to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. In its outdoor area, it is equipped with a kitchenette with a double fire stove, cooking utensils and dishes. A small wooden table-bench is set up for a dining area. A few steps away, there is a fire place for a barbecue party.

Chemins de Traverse
The Chemins de Traverse project invites you to experience and immerse yourself in the forest of the Forêts National Park, the 11th and newest of France’s national parks.
You’ll camp in nomadic tents, discover the secrets of the forest floor, rent a donkey to accompany you on your explorations, stay in unique treehouses, hike along forest streams to their sources, learn traditional basket weaving, try your hand at naturalist sketching with a professional over the course of a weekend… or simply enjoy the peace and serenity of the surroundings, with family or friends, to relax and take the time to savor life…
Located in the southern part of the Haute-Marne department, on the Langres Plateau, our village of Auberive and its Cistercian abbey are ideally situated to offer you a beautiful retreat or a starting point for day trips or long-distance hikes.
Chemins de Traverse is an initiative of the Auberive Nature Education Center, managed by the Haute-Marne Education League
