Champagne discovery and tasting day

Want to discover Champagne through its wines and champagnes? Climb aboard the Sparkling Tour mini-van and spend a day conquering the "Crus" villages. Guided tours and tastings are on the agenda for this picturesque journey, which you can enjoy solo, as a couple or with the whole family.

Departure is at 9:30 am from Reims train station. To open the day, the Sparkling Tour guide will take you to a Premier Cru producer, where you'll discover the famous "méthode champenoise". Immerse yourself in the House's cellar, and marvel at a selection of its 3 best champagnes.

Then head to the village of Hautvillers, the Cradle of Champagne, to unravel the mysteries of this sparkling beverage. A visit to the Abbey Saint-Pierre, home to Dom Pérignon's tomb, will share with you the fascinating story of its inventor. After this historic visit, the vast Champagne vineyards will welcome you for a convivial and panoramic tour along their paths. This is followed by lunch at the "Bistronomique" restaurant in Épernay to round off the morning.

The afternoon promises to be equally busy, with visits to two "Premier ou Grand Cru" and "Grand Cru" producers. The cellar visits will be complemented by champagne tastings in a convivial atmosphere. You'll have plenty to marvel at before returning to Reims at 6pm.
