    Your programme includes bubble beds, hydromassage, whirlpool baths, hammams and saunas… All in water heated to 32 degrees. You’ll really appreciate its solarium and outdoor hot tubs on the thermal baths’ roof, providing unrestricted views of the town down below.     Hidden away in the heart of the Thermal Park, Contrexéville’s Casino awaits your discovery. It’s a human-sized affair with an intimate ambience very different from the big slot-machine rooms you find in more recent casinos.

    The establishment also possesses an Italian-style baroque cinema, an ideal setting for a lovers’ tryst. After taking a wander through the various rooms in this idyllic spot, it’ll be your choice: trying your luck at one of the tables or stealing away to spend a few romantic moments together.

    If the second option appeals to you, make your way to one of the town’s care and wellness centres. On a massage table or in a sauna or soothing bath, enjoy a spot of relaxation and tranquillity with your other half.

    Visiting Contrexéville with your family? Then enjoy a sunny afternoon at the Lacs de la Folie leisure centre. 12 hectares of greenery in the heart of the Vosges Plain, with a free-of-charge supervised open-air swimming pool in the summer.

    The leisure centre is also the departure point for a good many tree-shaded marked trails, including the Sentier des Lacs (Lakes Trail) to the Vittel Thermal Park. It winds its way alongside shores and through forestland, taking you around the lakes on foot or by bike. Ideal for an invigorating family outing!

    At the centre itself, you’ll be able to hire pedalos and paddle boards or enjoy an acrobranching session with courses and ziplines for young and old alike. There’s also an escape game and paintball for lovers of really wild pastimes!

    It’s an angler’s paradise too, with carp, trout, tench, roach and gudgeon among the possible catches. And finally, it’s an ideal spot for picnicking, enjoying a drink or an ice cream, or having a bite to eat on the terrace with views over the lakes.

After you’ve got yourself back on form in one of its baths, make your way to Place des Fontaines Vertes and Place des Fontaines Bleues to acquaint yourself with Contrexéville’s heritage

    Made from Carrara marble and enamelled lava in the 1980s, the fountains further embellish the Vosges spa resort by adding a touch of colour to its historical heritage. Follow the town’s Cultural Trail to discover its many hidden treasures, including the magnificent Romanesque Saint Epvre Church.
