Experience more than just a first flight with MosAiles Parapente-Paramoteur in Saint-Jean-Rohrbach, between Saint-Avold and Puttelange-aux-Lacs. In the heart of the Moselle lake district, this one-hour mini-training course plunges you into the world of free flight, with the emphasis on understanding and practice. Here, you don’t just fly: you learn and take control.

The experience begins with a full theoretical session. Your qualified instructor introduces you to the equipment, how a glider works, aerological principles and essential safety rules. You’ll discover how wind, thermal lift and sunlight influence flight. This instructional phase enables you to approach take-off with confidence, and to understand each stage of the flight.

Once airborne, you enjoy around 60 minutes of tandem flight. Under the careful supervision of a licensed pilot, you move from theory to practice. If you wish, you can take control of the paraglider and experience the sensations of piloting: managing your trajectory, making turns, adapting to air movements. You’ll get a real feel for the impact of the natural elements on the glider, while admiring the forests, hills and waterways that make up the Moselle landscape.

Allow around 4 hours on site to enjoy the best flying conditions and live the experience to the full. Accessible from age 6 and with no prerequisites, this activity is offered eight months a year, six days a week. As an option, a souvenir video immortalizes your initiation to flying.
