Vent des Forêts, a Center for Contemporary Art of National Interest, has been fostering a fruitful dialogue between the rural world and contemporary art for 29 years. Located in the heart of the Meuse department in the Grand Est region, Vent des Forêts has been run since 1997 by an association that brings together six farming and forestry villages: Fresnes-au-Mont, Lahaymeix, Nicey-sur-Aire, Pierrefitte-sur-Aire, Dompcevrin, and Ville-devant-Belrain.
