The Sainte-Croix Wildlife Park

The Sainte-Croix Wildlife Park is like no other! In Moselle, in the Sarrebourg region, this immense green setting of 120 hectares is home to more than 130 different species.
An exceptional setting where 1,500 animals live in semi-liberty in the 5 areas dedicated to them: New World, European Animal Trail, History of Wolves, Gérald's Farm and Neo's Journey (dedicated to global biodiversity).

Over the course of the day, take a stroll along the 5 trails that will take you to the heart of each of these worlds. You'll come face to face with some fascinating species as they go about their business, just as they would in the wild! Boreal lynx, European bison, brown bear, coyote, Maki-Catta lemur, Western Canadian black wolf, snowy owl... Welcome to an incredible natural reserve of emotions!

Throughout the day, discover the different nature experiences on offer at the Parc Animalier de Sainte-Croix: a wild expedition on a train-safari on the trail of the animals of Europe, activities in the enclosures, the nocturnal call of the wolf, not forgetting the spellbinding visit at dusk.

    If you don't have enough time in the day to see your favourite animals again and again, you can spend the night in the park!

    It's a sensational experience, offering you the unique opportunity to sleep right next to the animals. There are 56 nature lodges dotted around the park, giving you the chance to watch your neighbours for the night: wolves, bears or red deer. There's something to sparkle in the eyes of young and old alike!

      Book your visit to Amnéville Zoo and immerse yourself in the heart of a remarkable zoological park in Moselle!

      Located 20 km from Metz in the heart of the Amnéville leisure centre, the zoo covers 18 hectares. A green paradise where the savannah, the tropical jungle and the plains of Europe follow one another with surprising naturalness! 2,000 animals live peacefully in these particularly exotic worlds. Orang-utan, black panther, African elephant, California sea lion, pink flamingo, Nile crocodile... Stroll through the park and enjoy a front row seat to observe its curious residents.

      Throughout the day, don't miss the events and activities organised by the zoo, starting with the guided feedings. Red pandas, hippopotamuses, polar bears, gorillas, penguins... They all have very specific diets, and you'll have the chance to find out what they are thanks to the explanations of the scientific animator.

      Another must-see at Amnéville Zoo: the shows. Every day, the Wings of the World show features the free flight of the world's largest birds of prey. Keep your eyes peeled: the bald eagle, the griffon vulture and the ground hornbill will be circling overhead! And if you prefer the antics of sea lions, then head to the Bay of Sea Lions. During a fun and educational presentation, the sea lions will show you everything they're capable of!

        Take a behind-the-scenes look at the park

        Have your children fallen in love? Keep the magic of the visit alive by offering them a "Caretaker for a Day" course. The idea? Share special moments up close to the animals in the company of one of the park's animal caretakers. Preparing food rations, feeding, cleaning...

        The Parc de Sainte-Croix and Amnéville Zoo offer a range of "Animal keeper for a day" courses, where you can spend half a day working alongside an animal keeper. A fabulous way to immerse yourself and a great gift idea for your child if they love animals!
