Immerse yourself in a unique artistic workshop at Ryumon Ji Zen Monastery in Weiterswiller, an Alsatian village nestled near Strasbourg. For 3 hours, give way to intuition and freedom of expression in a natural, calm and inspiring environment. Here, you can explore painting and creation in a different way, without constraints or expectations.
Each workshop begins with a time of meditation – whether sitting or walking – to refocus, calm the mind and connect fully to the present moment. This is followed by sensory and creative practices, adapted to each workshop: for example, picking wild plants in the temple garden for the painting workshop, or gathering in the forest for the creative walk.
Three themes are offered to explore different forms of expression: intuitive painting, artistic walks in the forest or 3D creation from recycled objects. Whichever you choose, you’ll be guided through the process of creating one or more works of art, alone or with others, depending on your mood. No technical skills are required: what counts is your desire to express, feel and create freely.
In a friendly, soothing atmosphere, each participant progresses at his or her own pace. The emphasis is on experience, expression and feeling. Whether you’re curious, a beginner or simply looking for a moment to yourself, this workshop is a veritable bubble of inspiration. Treat yourself to this timeless moment and reconnect with your natural creativity.
