Created in 1868, the Parc zoologique et botanique de Mulhouse is one of the oldest zoos in France. A European center for the conservation and understanding of endangered animal and plant species, the Park is also an expert in animal welfare.
When you enter the zoo, you’ll meet over 170 species of animals from all over the world. Bongos, polar bears, Prince Alfred’s deer, red flamingos or Madagascar’s turquoise-eyed lemurs… 1,200 animals await you for moments of exploration and wonder.
The botanical park is also home to an incredible wealth of plant life. Stroll through the hydrangea alley with its violet flowers, stroll through the tulip gardens and giant plants, and take time to admire the grandeur of the giant sequoia and oak trees. More than 3,000 varieties of trees and plants welcome you to a 25-hectare estate that has been awarded the « Jardin Remarquable » label.

Parc zoologique et botanique de Mulhouse
Created in 1868, the Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Park welcomes 1,200 animals in a magnificent 25-hectare landscaped setting.
As a European center for the conservation and knowledge of endangered species, the park offers visitors the opportunity to observe the 160 species presented in order to better understand them and take action for their preservation. The park, classified as a "Remarkable Garden", and its 9 thematic gardens offer a place to walk in all seasons.
The zoological and botanical park offers many possibilities for discovery to enrich group or family outings: guided animal or botanical tours, visits on a small train, animal encounters, treasure hunts or special visits. An adapted catering service is also available for young and old alike!
