The stalls are overflowing with delicate, finely worked Christmas-tree balls, Christmas-crib figures and festive crowns. The delicious scents of mulled wine and gingerbread perfume the Alsatian capital, enveloping you in a comforting, warmly welcoming atmosphere.
Admire the majestic Christmas tree twinkling with a thousand lights in the midst of Place Kléber: you can’t miss it! On Place Broglie, rummage through the good on sale in the wooden chalets of the Christkindelsmärik, one of Europe’s oldest traditional Christmas markets, which has enlivened Alsace’s festive season celebrations since…1570!
