Getting to the Grand Est from Paris
Easy to reach, the Grand Est region is just a stone's throw from Paris by train or car.
Many TGV high-speed trains link the capital with the towns of the Grand Est in less than 2 hours: Reims (45 min); Metz or Nancy (1h30); Strasbourg (1h45). TER (regional express train) links take you to the towns of Champagne-Troyes, Epernay and Châlons-en-Champagne in 1h30.
If you choose to travel by car, there are many motorway links to the Grand Est region. Allow 1 hour 25 minutes to reach Reims, around 3 hours 30 minutes to Nancy or Metz and 4 hours 30 minutes to Strasbourg.
