During this half-day workshop led by Marie-Christine Dumaine, you'll decorate the soliflore of your choice and take part in the firing process: loading, observing, unloading and smoking your piece. You'll also receive an introduction to the material and create a piece of your choice (bowl or cup).
In her workshop nestled in the Vosges forest, 10 minutes from Remiremont and 20 minutes from Epinal, Marie-Christine welcomes you to a ceramic experience: you'll experience the magic of raku and discover this Japanese technique.
After acquiring the various techniques of ceramics through training in recognized centers, Marie-Christine opened her own workshop and turned to organizing ceramics courses, because she loves passing on and sharing her passion and experience of this craft.
During the workshop, as you experiment with materials and techniques, she will tell you about her experience of ceramics, and talk to you about the world of ceramics.
You'll spend half a day together, in a friendly atmosphere that takes everyone's pace into account.
