Trained as a designer and cabinetmaker, Morgane is dedicated to designing furniture with pure lines. Morgane’s interest in rattan cane and caning techniques led to her gradual training.
Using rattan vines from South-East Asia, cut into strips several meters long, Morgane meticulously weaves seats, giving new life to chairs, armchairs and other objects adorned with canework. Morgane also works on the creation of caned objects and furniture, fusing tradition and modernity in her creations.
Morgane’s workshop is located in a charming village in the Aube region, occupying a 16th-century building where history and craftsmanship meet to create an atmosphere where creativity is the order of the day.
In this discovery workshop, Morgane offers you a special workshop to introduce your child to caning techniques. Over 2 days of 6 hours each, your child will discover the world of caning by working on a wooden frame, offering an ideal opportunity to share the art and know-how of caning as a family.
