Treat yourself to a creative break with this unique workshop, where you’ll discover the art of embroidery.
This workshop will introduce you to several needle embroidery techniques: blanket stitch, running stitch, satin stitch, fly stitch, backstitch… These techniques will allow you to experiment with textures, depth, and fill patterns to create expressive, structured designs.
You’ll also discover the delicate art of Sashiko, a Japanese embroidery style featuring geometric and repetitive patterns, used to decorate, reinforce, or repair fabrics while cultivating patience through the act of stitching.
The final part of the workshop will be dedicated to personal creation. With guidance throughout the process, you’ll design a project that reflects your personal style: embroider a garment, create an accessory, a brooch, or a decorative patch… Each step will be guided, allowing you to give free rein to your creativity while learning to master the basics.
All necessary materials are provided on-site: practice fabrics, threads, needles, and scissors. Before the workshop begins, you’ll even receive some helpful tips on choosing a garment or accessory to personalize. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover artisanal craftsmanship in a friendly atmosphere and to leave with a unique, handmade creation. Reserve your spot today!
