Sir John F.W. Herschell, astronomer, physicist and chemist, was interested in photography and wanted to develop the practice by focusing on his various specialties. Using his photographic skills, he detected the formation of intense blue images on support paper and introduced the cyanotype process.
Over the course of 3 hours, you’ll discover a chemical preparation workshop, with supports on display and unveiled to perfect your images. A question-and-answer session is also part of the program, with expert advice on how to create exceptional images.
