Bulles de culture – Portal and calvary of St Nicolas

If you’re an art, culture and history enthusiast, come and discover the emblematic portal and calvary of the Saint-Nicolas church in Troyes! This expert-led tour will plunge you into the splendors of Gothic and Renaissance art.

Dominique le Florentin, François Gentil and le Maître de Chaource will guide you through the marvels of Gothic and Renaissance sculpture to be found in the church of Saint-Nicolas. Famous for its calvary, with a tomb dating from around 1530, this church is truly a living museum of fine art, bearing witness to the art of the Middle Ages and early Renaissance.

Lasting 45 minutes, your exploration begins at the south portal, followed by exceptional access to the top of the Calvary. The tour continues with the « Bulles de culture – Sculptures de St Pantaléon » theme at 11 a.m. on the same day, available on reservation.

The tour is open to everyone aged 6 and over, and can accommodate up to 35 people per group. So get your e-tickets and join us on Saturday April 6 at 9.50am.
