Bulles de culture – St Nizier church

If you’re an architecture and history enthusiast, Troyes La Champagne Tourisme is going to surprise you with its « Bulles de culture sur l’église Saint Nizier » guided tour, scheduled for 2pm on May 04. Located in Troyes, the church is in the Entre deux portes district, at the corner of Rue des Singes verts and Rue du bœuf renouvelé.

The Renaissance-style church of Saint Nizier is an impressive masterpiece. It boasts a glazed roof and an interior adorned with 16th-century stained glass and statuary.Speciallydesignedby professional glass painters, the beaded engravings on red, blue and green glass feature intricate cut-outs. As for the current building, it’s the result of reconstruction and extension work on the old building.
