Make your own chocolate bar at Secrets du Chocolat by Schaal
Are you visiting Alsace with your family and looking for a fun activity to do together? Located in Geispolsheim, near Strasbourg, Les Secrets du Chocolat by Schaal introduces you to the craft of chocolate-making. Young and old alike will enjoy making their own chocolate bar. The workshop will be followed by a fascinating visit to the Musée du Chocolat. A unique experience that's not to be missed!
Chocolate straight from Guayaquil in Ecuador, hazelnuts grown in Guyenne and a dose of creativity - that's all you need to make this sweet treat. Put on your apron and follow the chocolatier's instructions carefully. After choosing between dark (70%) and milk chocolate, carefully pour the chocolate into your mold. The aim is not to make a single bubble... Then all you have to do is decorate your bar according to your taste!
Lasting 20 minutes, this workshop will awaken all your senses. It ends with an enriching tour of the Musée du Chocolat. This 250 m² space plunges you into the world of chocolatiers - since 1871 - from yesterday to today. From the bean to the chocolate, you'll learn all about how it's made.

Share the secrets of the apprentice chocolatiers: Immerse yourself in the Laboratoire des Chocolatiers, where workshops for all ages are organized to teach you the techniques of the chocolatier. Make your own chocolate as a family, and take your creation home with you!
