21st Festival des Jardins Métissés : Gardens of Enchanted Cabins

Plunge into the heart of adventure and let yourself be transported into an enchanted world at the 21st Festival des Jardins Métissés! This year’s theme is Enchanted Cabin Gardens, offering an experience full of emotions and discoveries. Nestled in the Parc de Wesserling in Husseren-Wesserling, Haut-Rhin, this unique event celebrates the beauty of nature and the art of gardening through original and imaginative artistic installations.

The gardens, classified as « Jardin Remarquable », invite you to take a magical stroll through five sumptuous sites, true treasures of Alsace. Explore winding heritage paths amid lush green landscapes, where works of art and sculptures complete the enchanting ambience. The gardens are refuges for dreams and play, creating a captivating world.

The cabins, the jewels in the crown of this experience, are uniquely designed and reflect a special atmosphere inspired by fairy tales. Fairies, unicorns and goblins mingle with fantastical elements, while other cabins blend harmoniously into natural habitats with climbing plants and organic structures. A photographic exhibition also invites you to discover Ara’s star, bees in a human-sized hive and the story of the 3 little pigs.

Beyond this bewitching atmosphere, the Festival des Jardins Métissés offers a multitude of activities and special events. Lectures on gardening, hands-on workshops, barefoot and sensory trails await you. You can also purchase rare plants and unique gardening accessories from exhibitors. Children can enjoy a discovery trail called Héridou, specially designed for them.

This emblematic Parc Wesserling festival is for all lovers of nature, art and gardening. From June 3 to October 8, 2023, the gardens are open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., giving you the opportunity to plan your visit now and take full advantage of this extraordinary experience.
