Do you know where Champagne bubbles come from? How grape varieties are processed? Or what materials are used to make this beverage? Let us take you on an enriching oenotouristic visit and discover all the secrets of Champagne Denis Chaput through a guided tour with tasting.
Trace this soft, nebulous effervescence back to its source. Your enthusiastic guide will take you step-by-step through the champagne-making process. Wind your way through the rows of vines and identify the 5 grape varieties used by the house. Take an instructive tour of the estate's winery to get a closer look at the equipment used. A visit to a rich cellar will make you dream with its bottles cleverly stacked one on top of the other. Smell, touch, ask and learn: Champagne Denis Chaput opens up to you.
The tour ends in the cellar, formerly a Templar House. Here you can taste the different cuvées for which Denis Chaput is renowned: Mésogée, proudly representing the history of the terroir; Promesse de l'Aube, dedicated to Chaput's winemaking expertise; Noir de Jade, charming with its fruity, iodized sea-spray aromas; Ombre d'Armand, a tribute to the man behind the house's first champagne; and Frates Templi, a reminder of the Templar brothers who contributed to the prosperity of the village of Arrentières.
You'll have wonderful memories of your visit to Domaine Denis Chaput!
