The Alsace of grands crus and characterful villages

Between vineyards, charming villages and old stones, this stage reveals the best of Alsace through its emblematic landscapes.

From Soultz-les-Bains, EuroVelo 5 joins the Véloroute du Vignoble d'Alsace and invites you to pedal through picture-postcard panoramas. The route winds through vineyards, orchards, abbeys and typical bell towers. You'll pass through Molsheim, Rosheim, Obernai, Barr and then Dambach-la-Ville, against a backdrop of Mont Sainte-Odile and the ridges of the Vosges.

This section of the cycle route, between Marlenheim and Châtenois, offers a diversity of atmospheres and remarkable sites. The ruins of medieval castles dominate the valleys, while flower-filled villages unveil their half-timbered houses and ancestral fountains. The route alternates between vineyard paths, old railway lines and small roads, all surfaced and suitable for leisure pursuits.
