Located in the heart of the Forêt d’Orient Regional Nature Park, Dienville stands out for its proximity to Lake Amance. Bordered by the river, this picturesque little village will leave you breathless!
From 864 to the present day, discover the fascinating history of this charming village, linked to the construction of the Forêt d’Orient lakes in the 1990s. Indeed, the village lies right in the heart of the Champagne wetlands, and for good reason: that’s why Lake Amance made its home here.
The village’s architecture also bears witness to this geographical particularity, with its red-tiled roofs and half-timbered and stone buildings. That’s what makes this village so special! Some traces of the seigniorial era still remain: its former castle, now private, its old dovecote, its chapels, its fountain… Not forgetting its Saint-Quentin church, home to the Trésor des Églises du Parc naturel régional de la Forêt d’Orient. A unique heritage to discover!
