Immerse yourself in the magic of Alsatian legends at the Écomusée d’Alsace! This open-air museum, the largest of its kind in France, opens its doors to you for 8 captivating evenings. A show for the whole family, in collaboration with La Fabrik’!
On Christmas Eve 1920, Frau Berschta, Christkindel, Saint Nicolas and Hans Trapp are all together, and hear on the radio that a character named Santa Claus is becoming increasingly important, and is crossing the Atlantic to Europe and perhaps even to Alsace… Our protagonists then set off to meet the villagers and convince them that they are each the spirit of Christmas. Will they succeed?
This show takes place outdoors: the museum houses will be closed and only the outdoor areas will be accessible. So don’t forget to bring good shoes and warm clothes!

Ecomusée d'Alsace
L'ÉCOMUSÉE D'ALSACE, A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE IN THE HEART OF NATURE
--
BUILDINGS & BIODIVERSITY
Today, the Ecomusée d'Alsace consists of a village of 80 buildings representative of Alsace at the beginning of the 20th century, all dismantled from their commune of origin and reassembled in the museum. Around the village, on an area of 97 hectares, you'll find 4 signposted trails to discover biodiversity, as well as agricultural areas in biological transition.
Be curious! Push open the door of each house to discover the treasures it contains: a converted interior, an exhibition, a craftsman's workshop or a stable with animals!

LABEL MUSÉE DE FRANCE
The Ecomusée d'Alsace boasts an exceptional collection of over 40,000 objects, reflecting the daily lives of Alsatians. When the museum was created in 1984, Alsatians became passionate about this adventure and began sending regular donations to the museum.

EVENTS ALL YEAR ROUND
