Woodworking workshop: create your own wooden object

Immerse yourself in the authentic world of woodworking and enjoy a unique craft experience alongside Guillaume, a passionate professional woodworker. During this convivial workshop, you’ll discover the basic gestures and techniques of woodworking while creating your own creations, whatever your level.

Alone, as a couple, with family or friends, from 1 to 4 participants maximum, you’ll take part in an accessible and enriching manual activity. Guided step by step by Guillaume, you choose the object you’d like to make from among several original proposals: a small modular shelf, a puzzle, a bird feeder, a coffee table, an egg shelf or a trivet with an atypical design. Depending on the number of participants and their experience, one or two objects can be made during the session.

This workshop is also an opportunity to learn the basics of carpentry and better understand the tools and techniques used by craftsmen. To make the experience even more immersive, the most curious can take up an original challenge: to make all or part of their creation without electricity, using traditional tools once used by woodworkers.

Beyond the actual making, this workshop is above all a time for sharing and discovery. You’ll leave with your own creation, but also with new knowledge and the desire to continue creating on your own.
