Have you ever come across a mushroom and wondered whether it was edible or not? Whether on your own, with your family or among friends, take a tour of the Pays du Der in Haute-Marne with your guide Didier du Val. He’ll teach you how to tell the good mushrooms from the bad. But that’s not all.
From the caves of Morancourt to the Côtes Noires and the chasms of Trois-Fontaines, the Pays du Der is brimming with exceptional sites where mushrooms and wild flowers abound. Depending on your choice, the outing can last 2 or 3 hours. In either case, it will take you off the beaten tourist track. Your guide knows the region like the back of his hand.
Ideal for a moment of sharing, this morning walk will plunge you into the heart of unspoilt nature. You’ll need a raincoat and walking shoes. You’ll also need to bring a basket and a knife to pick a few mushroom specimens. And, of course, a camera will also come in handy (not for taking selfies, but for photographing the various species of mushroom you’ll find along the way!)
