At the end of the day, sail aboard a vintage electric boat without a license to the Saverne marina. Meals and drinks are not included, but you can dine in one of the on-site restaurants, such as a typical cellar or on a terrace overlooking the canal.

The next morning, discover the 14th-century Gothic cloister of the Récollets, where your electrically-assisted bicycles are waiting for you. 20 km of safe, bucolic cycling along the Marne-Rhine Canal, alternating sun and shade, await you. Along the way, you’ll discover charming lock houses transformed into artists’ residences, and protected biodiversity. For children, there are stops along the way with benches, donkeys, a playground, locks and moving boats. Lunch is available at the lock’s crêperie, at an additional cost. Then, as you continue your walk, you’ll be able to admire from afar the boat elevator, unique in France, which enables boats to cross the Vosges threshold and avoid 17 locks. If you wish, you can take the tour at an additional cost. Finally, end your escape with a ride on a summer alpine toboggan, to relax your legs and enjoy the sensations.
