Treat yourself to a unique experience: join the animal care team for a half-day in the heart of Amnéville Zoo. Gorillas, polar bears and Humboldt penguins are waiting for you to get up close and personal.
On the program: preparing rations, cleaning enclosures, distributing enrichments… all essential to the animals’ well-being.
Go behind the scenes of the gorilla house, a place usually reserved for the caretakers. Working alongside the teams, you’ll take part in the upkeep of the primates’ sleeping quarters, discovering all the precautions and attentions necessary for their well-being. You’ll then prepare and distribute enrichments specially designed to stimulate their curiosity.
The morning continues with a privileged encounter with the polar bears and the Humboldt penguin colony, where you’ll learn about their feeding habits and the specific care required in their environment. You’ll have the opportunity to take part in their feeding, a unique moment of exchange and proximity with these species.
