Fusing: try your hand at a glassmaking technique for Halloween
Push open the door of the Galerie Atelier du Cerfav in Vannes-le-Châtel, near Toul, and discover the fascinating world of hand-crafted glass. During a 30-minute workshop, learn about fusing, a creative technique that blends color, light and transparency.
Guided by a glass artisan, you’ll assemble colored glass pieces on a transparent plate, a cross between mosaic and stained glass. After firing at high temperature, your pieces will fuse together to create a unique, personalized decoration. Whether to mark a season, embellish your interior or simply give free rein to your imagination, each creation becomes a true work of art.
Your creation, carefully fired in our 820° kilns, will be available a few days after the workshop, giving you the pleasure of leaving with a lasting, original piece that reflects your creativity.
