Immerse yourself in a unique artistic workshop at Ryumon Ji Zen Monastery, located in Weiterswiller, a village in Alsace near Strasbourg. For 3 hours, intuition and freedom of expression take center stage. In the midst of nature or in a calm, inspiring setting, you are invited to explore painting in a new, unrestricted way.
The workshop begins with a series of preparatory practices to awaken the senses and gently enter the creative process: energy initiation, plant and flower picking, bouquet creation, and a short guided walk in the surrounding area. These times of exploration allow you to observe your surroundings, to feel, and to nourish your inspiration.
With loving guidance, you’ll give shape to one or more pictorial creations, alone or in a group, as you wish. The workshop highlights the pleasure of gesture, the richness of color and the texture of materials. There’s no need to know how to draw or paint: all that counts is your desire to express, feel and create.
In a serene, friendly atmosphere, each participant progresses at his or her own pace. The emphasis is on experience rather than technique, for a liberating and personal moment of sensory exploration.
Whether you’re curious, a beginner or looking for some time to yourself, this workshop is a bubble of inspiration to be experienced to the full. Treat yourself to this timeless moment and reconnect with your natural creativity.
