Visit of the Choco Story Museum in Colmar

Located in the heart of Colmar, the Musée du Chocolat Immersif invites you to share your passion for chocolate in an original, unique and secure setting. Experience a gourmet and surprising sensory immersion at the Choco Story museum, created by the Van Belle family.

Discover the history of chocolate and its manufacturing secrets! A visit to the museum will transport you to a variety of worlds to keep you awake and focused. At the entrance, the receptionist will give you 2 chocolates and an audioguide, which will be very useful during your visit. The audioguide, in the form of a remote control, is designed to explain each exhibit and launch the interactive animations.

On the first floor, you'll discover a variety of spaces showcasing past events that have marked the history of chocolate. These include the Mayan temple, the first people to process cocoa, the Spanish galleon, the royal courts and the old French pharmacy from the time of "Jules Verne".

The 1st floor showcases industrial production and modern chocolate. The Cabaret-show-style atmosphere is very festive, thanks to sound and light effects. You'll discover how today's chocolatiers go about creating their gourmet creations.

At the end of the tour, you'll find a large map of Alsace, listing the region's main artisan chocolatiers. You'll also have access to all the tastings, and can come along at any time.
