Discover an exciting autumn with your family, having fun while exploring the world of science in Strasbourg with Le Vaisseau and its unique cultural offerings.
This autumn’s flagship event is the collaboration between the Collectivité européenne d’Alsace and Le Vaisseau to celebrate science together and inaugurate the season under the banner of scientific discovery. Let your minds warm up by taking part in the Night of Riddles, dive into the world of sport alongside scientists and specialists at the Fête de la Science. Marvel at the many shows at the Curieux Tremplin and take part in the selection of future talent for the Curieux Festival. Discover workshops for all ages, from 3 to 12, and enjoy family time together.
A new feature not to be missed this autumn is the opening of the new permanent exhibition, « le Petit Quartier », as well as the renewal of the emblematic space, « le Chantier ». A comprehensive 300m2 space dedicated exclusively to children aged 3 to 6 and their carers, to build and understand the world in motion.
Explore all the exhibits, watch the 2D film and take part in the activities offered by the Vaisseau’s scientific mediators. And don’t forget the temporary exhibition, « Colibri », to discover the secrets of commitment.
Join the Vaisseau in this scientific adventure and let your thirst for discovery blossom!

Le Vaisseau
For more than 15 years, the Vaisseau has been offering children aged 3 to 12 (and the adults who accompany them) animations, exhibitions, workshops and courses to understand science while having fun. The concept of this establishment of the European Collectivity of Alsace is based on a simple idea: children are more interested in science if it is presented in a playful way. Thus, many techniques of scientific mediation are used so that all the visitors can find the one which corresponds to them:
Human mediation: a team of animators is permanently present in the exhibitions. They offer "flash" activities.
They are distributed in the Garden (to explore and discover the plants and small animals that surround us such as bees), Being human (children discover the human body), I make (building is to approach techniques very useful in everyday life), The Forest (here the children work on their logic and solve mathematical riddles), the Animals (with the ant farm to observe the life of these insects), the Oasis (to understand the physical properties of liquids), the Nursery (a space where the children cultivate creativity) and the Cave to explore the properties of light
Films and shows: through beautiful stories, they allow visitors to understand the world around them from another angle.
The event exhibition: presented over several months, it offers an original exploration, always related to science and technology.
