If you’re a fan of unusual activities and discoveries, let yourself be transported by this nocturnal visit to the Cap Lamp in Petite-Rosselle. The event will take place at Parc Expor Wendel, a former 19th century coal mining site, on Saturday October 21 and Saturday December 2.
Enjoy a unique experience through this activity, which focuses on the particularities of a miner’s night shift. During the visit, you’ll discover the equipment once used by the factory. You’ll be guided by a former miner.
Before setting off on your adventure, you’ll need to don protective gear such as a helmet and belt. The lamp shop will provide you with a lamp that will enable you to venture deep into the mine’s galleries. On this Cap Lamp night tour, you’ll visit the former Wendel tundish, where you’ll discover the famous bathhouse corridor and the hanging room.
At the end of the tour, relax over a buffet meal featuring an assortment of charcuterie, crudités and cheeses, followed by a trio of desserts after a stroll through the galleries.
