As part of the Bêtes et Sorcières Festival orchestrated by the Moselle département, Parc Explor Wendel revisits the Out of Time game space: « Le Mystère du Monstre 850 ». Dive into the bowels of the Wendel Mine and help Nicolas solve the mystery of his father’s disappearance in 1958! A thrilling adventure awaits you.
At the heart of the Wendel Mine, your mission is to uncover the truth behind the death of Nicolas’ father, Zeppi. What really happened 30 years ago? While the official version is that it was simply an accident, rumors persist. The 1958 explosion in the gallery, 850 metres underground, is said to have been linked to a mysterious entity: « The Monster of 850 ».
On November 04, 2023, enjoy this unusual escape game lasting 1h15. Children aged 12 and over can take part, and the minimum number of participants per group is 4, with a maximum of 8.
After this intense epic, recharge your batteries at the Café Kaffeeklatsch, transformed into a haunted lounge for the occasion, where you’ll be served a quick bite to eat.

Parc Explor Wendel
A former coal mining site established in 1862, the Carreau Wendel, now known as “Parc Explor Wendel”, has become a leisure and cultural center for the whole family. It features the Musée Les Mineurs Wendel, the Wendel Mine, our restaurant l’Atelier 1904, cycle paths and footpaths, as well as numerous activities to discover throughout the year (visits to mining towns, etc.).
It is also one of the largest and most complete coal mining complexes in Europe.
