3-day, 2-night hike – Medieval Alsace

Immerse yourself in history and exceptional landscapes with this itinerant tour of medieval Alsace. From village to village, between vineyards, forests and fortified remains, explore at your own pace a territory marked by the Lords of the Middle Ages, in a preserved natural setting.

This 4-day tour takes you along trails between Labaroche, Turckheim, Niedermorschwihr, Katzenthal and Kaysersberg. Each stage reveals a different aspect of Alsace’s rich heritage: ruins of perched castles, fortified gates, unusual bell towers and half-timbered houses punctuate the itinerary. The Château du Hohnack, the town of Ammerschwihr and the imperial keep at Kaysersberg offer breathtaking views over the valley, the Alsace plain and the vineyards.

Our self-guided tours allow you to hike at your own pace, with no logistical constraints. Your luggage is transported from one accommodation to another, meals are taken care of (breakfasts, lunches, picnics), and a complete hiking file guides you along the way.
