The minstrel festival
Every year, the Ménétriers (or Pfifferdaj) festival continues the tradition of the travelling musicians and troubadours who used to gather in Ribeauvillé. This authentic medieval festival is the oldest in Alsace!
Dancers and minstrels march in a grand procession, taking you right back to the Middle Ages. Never has Ribeauvillé lived up to its nickname of "city of minstrels" better!
The Ribeauvillé Christmas market
As the festive season approaches, Ribeauvillé and its typical houses provide a life-size setting for the medieval Christmas market.
