One of the most beautiful markets in France

The Reims Christmas Market is one of the most famous and important in France. Take a stroll through the 150 wooden chalets lining the city's streets and squares, from the upper part of the Promenades Jean-Louis Schneiter, through the Porte de Mars esplanade, to the station forecourt. At the stands, exhibitors will be showcasing their skills and their finest creations, to be placed under the Christmas tree as presents.

Taste the local specialities

As the cold weather sets in, you'll be treated to the smell of gingerbread, mulled wine and a few bubbles of champagne*. Take advantage of your stroll to sample some local specialities: pâtés en croûte and Reims pink biscuits, gingerbread and chocolates, all accompanied by music! In the artisans' village, meet artists from the Marne who will be showcasing their original creations. And for even more tasty discoveries, try a traditional Reims restaurant!

The highlight of the show: a whole programme of Christmas entertainment has been put together especially for the festive season. To the delight of young and old alike, discover the Children's Kingdom! Visit Father Christmas in his chalet, take a ride on the little train or take a ride on the merry-go-round with wooden horses. Stop off under the big Christmas tree, and for the more adventurous, take a spin on the Ferris wheel in Place Drouet d'Erlon. Thrills guaranteed!

Unesco World Heritage sites

Reims Cathedral, the Tau Palace, Saint-Remi Abbey and Saint-Nicaise Hill are all listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These unique sites are symbols of Reims' central place in history.

A visit to the Champagne vineyards

Another essential part of any successful stay in Reims is a visit to the vineyards and the great Champagne Houses. Take the route of the Champagne vineyards and push open the doors of the cellars to meet the winemakers, who will share their passion with you over a tasting session. It's an experience that really comes into its own in the run-up to the New Year, when Champagne bubbles become the perfect symbol of a refined, festive occasion. And don't forget to visit Épernay, the "Capital of Champagne", just 30 minutes away.

The Art Deco circuit in Reims

Less well known but just as exceptional, Reims is the French capital of Art Deco. This style, with its clean, sober, geometric lines, came into its own after the First World War, when the city was rebuilt. During a walk lasting around three hours, you can admire the many monuments created by this movement. Don't forget your camera!

This year, the Reims Christmas Market will be held from 26 November to 28 December 2025 on the high Promenades Jean-Louis Schneiter. It is open Mondays from 2pm to 8pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11.30am to 9pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 11.30am to 10pm, Saturdays from 10am to 10pm and Sundays from 10am to 8pm. Exceptionally, it will be closed on 25 December.

- Little train for children: every day (free)
- Ferris wheel: from Monday 15 November 2025 to Sunday 11 January 2026, from 10am to 10pm (paying)
- Musical entertainment at the Christmas market: every Wednesday and Friday afternoon
- Christmas choir at the market: Saturdays in December, at 5pm
- Musical entertainment in the town centre: 20 and 21 December, 2pm to 6pm
- Regalia show (projection onto Notre-Dame Cathedral): every Friday and Saturday at 8pm, from 28 November 2025 to 3 January 2026 (except Friday 12 December)

To make the most of the city, visitors can use public transport. If you're coming to Reims by car, you can leave it in one of the three P+R car parks (Parking Neufchatel, Parking CHU Hôpital Debré, and Parking Belges), located at the entrance to the city. You can then take public transport (tram, bus or city bus), cycle or visit the city on foot.
If you're coming by train, Reims Centre SNCF station is a 1-minute walk from Promenades Jean-Louis Schneiter, where the Christmas market is held.
