Visit and Tasting at Clos Sainte Apolline

A green landscape overlooking the Vosges foothills: welcome to the Bollenberg estate! The Meyer family welcomes you for a visit and a tasting.

This family has been devoting a pure passion to its land since 1887 and its distilling know-how has been passed on from generation to generation. This vast estate has 25 hectares of vineyards where all the Alsatian grape varieties are planted.

Clos Sainte Apolline opens its doors to you for a guided tour through its hectares of vineyards and its cellar manufacture. The domain applies organic agriculture for the wine making and the breeding: harvest by hand only and wine making in wooden tuns. It produces 52 brandies and liqueurs like the classic kirsch or mirabelle plum as well as the original liquorice or sweet wood brandy. The particularity of the vineyard is also its product "ice wine" harvested at temperatures of -7°C.

The visit is also enhanced by a gourmet break. You will taste several types of wines with dry, sweet or sparkling characteristics. If the atmosphere is greedy, the aperitif will be accompanied by an assortment of local products and will end with a real traditional Alsatian kouglof.

At the end of the tour, visitors like to leave with a souvenir bottle from the Bollenberg cellar. Lovers will be seduced by these wines and liqueurs with a particular taste while connoisseurs will be tempted by the tasting of 50° brandy. To be enjoyed in moderation and in good humor!

The visit and tasting at the Clos Sainte Apolline is an escapade to be done in couple, between friends or in family.
