Atthe southern gateway to the Alsace Wine Route, start your visit with the charming village of Thann, famous for its Grand Cru Rangen. Further north, enter the fiefdom of the Grand Cru Eichberg: Eguisheim, labelled one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", is a must-see if you want to immerse yourself in a medieval atmosphere!
To admire the richly decoratedhalf-timbered houses, head for Kaysersberg, a famous town that takes you from fortified bridge to exceptional wine cellars. Just a few kilometres away, the "Pearl of the Alsace vineyards" Riquewihr produces the Schoenenbourg wines that have been thrilling northern Europe since the 16th century. Continue north and stroll through the festive streets of Ribeauvillé, home to three Grands Crus and the joyous Fête des Ménétriers.
