Take a break in the Parc de la Pépinière
Resolutely green, Nancy has many parks and gardens where you can get some fresh air and enjoy excellent air quality. But the city's real green lung is the Pep', or Parc de la Pépinière, where 23 hectares of vegetation give you the chance to really unwind.
Here you can sit quietly on a bench, read a book and look up to see the deer, peacocks and other animals that thrive here. The park is also the venue for many cultural events organised by the city of Nancy.
Rendezvous at the Musée des Beaux-Arts
A city of art par excellence, treat yourself to a visit to Nancy's sumptuous Musée des Beaux-Arts, right on Place Stanislas. The building (a work of art in itself) retraces the entire history of art in Europe, from the 14th century to the present day, over several floors.
It includes original works by Rodin, César, Manet and Caravaggio, as well as works by artists from Lorraine. The Musée des Beaux-arts de Nancy is a magnificent ode to art in all its forms that you will discover in this exceptional museum. Not to be missed.

Hippos, giraffes, bears... Biodiversity from all over the world is represented alongside domestic breeds from the Grand Est region, such as the Vosges cow and the Lorraine goat.
Immerse yourself in Art Nouveau at the Ecole de Nancy
The Ecole de Nancy museum is first and foremost the former home of Eugène Corbin, a major Art Nouveau collector who bequeathed his house to the city on his death. The establishment is alsoone of the few dedicated to this art form, which relies on curved lines, colours and a wealth of ornamentation inspired by the natural world around us.
