This journey to the heart of one of France's oldest zoos begins with a stopover on the African plain. Here, if you're lucky, you might come face to face with a turquoise-eyed lemur, whose limpid gaze is sure to unsettle you! A diversion to Asia will also arouse the curiosity and wonder of visitors.

On the other side of the Pacific, in South America, you'll come across a few red flamingos parading around the park. It's not unusual for the scarlet colour of their plumage to provoke surprise and admiration from visitors. Awarded the "Jardin remarquable" label in 2003, Mulhouse's zoological and botanical park boasts more than 3,000 varieties of trees and plants from all over the world. A veritable green lung covering several hectares just a few minutes from the city of Mulhouse.

Stroll through the iris garden and its collection of multicoloured flowers with woody scents. Thanks to these efforts, the black-footed gibbon, red panda, polar bear, two-coloured tamarin and many other animals are protected.
