Celebrate Halloween in an exceptional historical setting! The towers of the Porte de la Craffe, a former medieval prison, open their doors to you for a memorable visit. Get ready to shiver as you discover a fascinating part of Nancy’s history!
Erected in the heart of Nancy in the 14th and 15th centuries, the Porte de la Craffe remains the only remaining example of the city’s medieval ramparts, and is the oldest monument in the historic center. These towers, used as a prison until the 19th century, are now an emblematic symbol of the Old Town.
This 1h30 guided tour will take you through the dark corners of the Porte de la Craffe. Anecdotes and stories of witchcraft will be told along the way, before you return to the mysterious alleys of the Old Town.
Admission is free for little explorers under 6, and for Nancy City Pass holders. So don your scariest costume and embark on this thrilling adventure at the Porte de la Craffe! Nancy’s darkest secrets will be revealed.
