"At the heart of business" explores the economic life of the city around 1900. The École de Nancy is reflected in the many buildings of the city's economic center. Spearheading Art Nouveau in France, this art combines craftsmanship and industry to become "total". You'll discover the characteristics of this style from the Rue des Dominicains to the famous L'Excelsior brasserie.
A second guided tour takes you from the L'Excelsior brasserie to the Villa Majorelle. Strolling along rue de la Commanderie and avenue Foch, you'll also discover buildings and hotels that illustrate the Art Nouveau style in all its splendor.
The Nancy Thermal district, where the discovery of the spring dates back to 1908, is just a stone's throw from Parc Sainte-Marie. Beautiful Art Nouveau homes have flourished in this district, which also houses the Ecole de Nancy museum.
