Après-ski: Vosges has plenty of winter activities in store beyond the slopes

After experiencing the fun to be had on the slopes, keep the good times rolling: the Massif des Vosges offers a host of activities that are perfect for winter. Enjoy the peace and quiet of hot springs and spas, try local specialities and treat yourself to a shopping spree at our outstanding artisanal workshops

Immerse yourself in the soothing waters of a spa or thermal baths

High-quality waters spring from the depths of the Massif des Vosges, known for their numerous benefits. The region is peppered with acclaimed thermal baths. Will you choose a city break at the famous Thermes de Vittel or Thermes de Contrexéville, or a countryside getaway in the historic Plombières-les-Bains or Bains-les-Bains?
Or would you prefer to relax in one of the many outstanding spas nestled in our mountains – it’s something we love doing in winter.
Jacuzzis, saunas, hammams and massages will pamper your muscles after they’ve been put to the test on the slopes. Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or recharge your batteries, you'll be spoilt for choice!

Discover Grand Est’s wellness offering

Try the specialities Vosges has to offer by an open fire...

Winter sports sure do work up an appetite! To fill that empty stomach, Vosges has a wide range of tasty and warming dishes. Discover the 100% local repas marcaire (a traditional herdsman’s meal): a delicious Munster valley meat pie, served with potatoes cooked in butter, white wine and bacon (known as tofailles), smoked pork and, of course, Munster cheese. For dessert, go for the must-have blueberry pie!

These gourmet specialities can be found in restaurants and farm-to-table inns, paired with a small, reinvigorating glass of cherry or plum Kirsch*.
