Celebrate summer in France’s largest open-air museum with the Fête au Village organized by the Ecomusée d’Alsace. From August 2 to 17, the village organizes festivities at dusk, in the form of an old-fashioned funfair. Located in a unique setting in Ungersheim, the museum reflects the image of an Alsatian village at the beginning of the 20th century.
The Ecomusée d’Alsace excels in preserving the environment and showcases diverse collections of buildings and everyday objects. It helps to pass on the region’s traditional skills and craftsmanship. During the festivities, the village is transformed into a lively, illuminated place of song and laughter. Orchestras, lights and night-time decorations will ensure that you have a great time with family and friends.
Various activities are available to entertain you, such as tasting sessions, chamboule-tout and duck fishing. There’s also a merry-go-round, bowling, juggling and more. In addition to the game stalls, the Alsace Ecomuseum offers a rhythmic concert to round off the evening in style.
This festive experience from 6pm to 11pm is suitable for everyone, and is entirely free for children under 3. Free parking is available on site.

Ecomusée d'Alsace
L'ÉCOMUSÉE D'ALSACE, A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE IN THE HEART OF NATURE
--
BUILDINGS & BIODIVERSITY
Today, the Ecomusée d'Alsace consists of a village of 80 buildings representative of Alsace at the beginning of the 20th century, all dismantled from their commune of origin and reassembled in the museum. Around the village, on an area of 97 hectares, you'll find 4 signposted trails to discover biodiversity, as well as agricultural areas in biological transition.
Be curious! Push open the door of each house to discover the treasures it contains: a converted interior, an exhibition, a craftsman's workshop or a stable with animals!

LABEL MUSÉE DE FRANCE
The Ecomusée d'Alsace boasts an exceptional collection of over 40,000 objects, reflecting the daily lives of Alsatians. When the museum was created in 1984, Alsatians became passionate about this adventure and began sending regular donations to the museum.
