Mulhouse's Christmas market is located in the town centre, on Place de la Réunion, at the foot of the Temple Saint-Etienne, and can be reached on foot or by tram from the station. Tram line 1 crosses Mulhouse from south to north. It serves the station, the historic centre of Mulhouse, the Avenue de Colmar, the Mertzau (the Cité de l'automobile and the Parc expo) and the Bourtzwiller district. By car, you can park at the Porte Jeune car park or the Maréchaux car park.

This year's Mulhouse Christmas Market runs from 21 November to 27 December 2025, with the exception of 25 December. Opening times are as follows: Sundays from 10am to 8pm, Mondays to Thursdays from 11am to 8pm, Fridays from 11am to 9pm and Saturdays from 10am to 9pm. On Saturday 24 December, the Mulhouse Christmas Market will be open from 11am to 6pm, on 26 December from 12pm to 8pm, and on 27 December from 11am to 6pm.

This year, the fabric is called "Perles du Rhin" (Rhine Pearls), and features multiple blue and gold motifs celebrating Rhine traditions and Mulhouse's glorious textile past. Marie-Jo Gebel is responsible for the design.

Mulhouse owes its other name, the "City of the Bollwerk", to its Bollwerk Tower, a 14th-century vestige of the city's old fortifications. It is one of the few remaining towers from this period in Mulhouse. It is located in the Nordfeld district.

The Colmar Christmas market is less than 1 hour from Mulhouse, and offers a picture-postcard backdrop of canals and half-timbered houses.
