In the week leading up to the French Open, the capital of Alsace puts the spotlight on women with the Strasbourg Internationals tournament. The event, nicknamed "IS" by spectators and locals alike, is the No. 1 women's tennis tournament in France.
Over the course of a week, the world's best female tennis players take to the courts of the Strasbourg Tennis Club, much to the delight of the 26,000 spectators who come to cheer them on. Budding tennis players are also welcome!
